did u take the pic yourself?i love the man to bits for what he did for our club but at the end of the villa game us city fans clapped him agian :icon_roll and he trund his back on us and never waved or did **** all just went over the villa fans which i know is right but he could have thanks us too at that point he went down in my book the lil git and he did reconmand cl to the club too :icon_conf :icon_conf

Don't bank on that, while MON acheived a lot on the pitch, behind the scenes, word has it, he did a lot to undermine the board, and we paid for a lot of his actions after he left the club.
Romours also include:
A rediculous personal expenses allowance (on top of his wages)
Taking bungs to sign some players, Fenton and Eadie are alleged
Talking Heskey into leaving (he wanted to stay - MON got a bung from liverpool)
Unsettling Lennon, Guppy and others after he had left for celtic.
there are a lot of things, others here might be more enlightening that suggest MON wasn't honest.

never said he was crap, i'm glad we had him, and enjoyed some good years under him. i think he probably is the best manager we have ever had, but he was not Mr perfect.

Thanks Homer - I had forgotten that!
MON may have been no angel (not sure about Bungs though), but he was by far the most EFFECTIVE manager we have had at this football club.
