On a lighter note David Moyes is about to be confirmed as West Ham boss. Well that's them and Palace down the shitter, only one relegation spot left to fight for.

Bad subs really, none worked. Nacho, in particular was pretty poor...don't think he's playing in the right position at all.

Maguire needs a bollocking.

Thought Riyad was excellent, Vardy too.

We score a lot of goals, so we will be safe, but we're poor at the back currently. Missing Bobby.
I thought Fuchs was at fault for Crouch's goal tbh

Wait - people are looking at website stats to tell them if those two goals were defensive cock ups or not

Seriously, this is actually happening in the real world ??
Agreed mark one eye ball can tell you thatThe frustrating part is that Stoke are Agricultural at best we should have been out of sight in the first half, I thought Vardy does better Mahrez in a central role I think Claude Puet should have started with Albrighton on and kept Mahrez more central, I guess he does not rate Albrighton as much.
It was obvious Stoke were petrified in the first half they hardly attacked at all, the injury to Iborra had a huge impact King is an attacking midfielder the total antitheses to Ndidi and Iborra, definitely 2 points dropped shame as we would sat 8th I think bring on Man City easy 3 pts there lol

Albrighton is, I feel, in need of a rest/benchtime as he's been in decline recently. We've a few players nearing the end of their useful lives and he's one of them. Fuchs, King and James are others. No disrespect to any of them but players age/tire and teams evolve. Fortunately, we have options (Fuchs arguably aside)

I too thought King for Iborra was the wrong (enforced) change, and said as much in the match thread. To retain the same-ish shape I think we only had Amartey on bench that suited that.

First half, Stoke sat back and flattered us really. They made Iborra look as though he was controlling play when in honesty they just weren't challenging or pressing and so Iborra was rejoicing in the space and time. Not his fault and I like him though. He reads the game well, takes up good positions and makes some good/well timed runs. He's never going to be quick though and busier opposition would probably test him.

Unfortunately Iborra going off left Fuchs and Simpson exposed when they were being encouraged forwards as wing-backs. King is totally useless as a defensive midfielder.

Might have been better to have brought Albrighton on. At least he can track back and tackle.

And it doesn’t need to be either a player is in or out of the side and that’s that. Albrighton has shown over the years what an incredibly useful Premier League player he is. He can start some games, then be on the bench the others depending on tactics or opposition.

Overall I thought we looked pretty good, with Iborra on the pitch. With Iborra, we look a very classy side. His bossing of the midfield allows our creative players more freedom to play. The full back's pushing on is a good tweak too.

All in all, we suddenly have a 'top 10' feel about us, certainly upwards. Not so long ago I would have snapped that hand off.
