Connolly did really well, did everything right, but "unlucky" once more

he just seems to always take one touch too many

I have to have a chuckle to myself when the guy in fromt of me at home games calls him "ten touch tony"

:-D whenever you think "come on, blast it", he dummies it and tries to trick all the defenders and goalkeeper then walk it into the goal

the best send off would be to let him play instead of one of our defenders. come back matt lol

we need defenders who are capable of 20+goals a season as our forwards are unlikely to manage it

That's it.

3 - 2 FT :-( :-( :-(

Let down by our defending AGAIN,we need some new blood at Centre Half, none of the three of them are good enough simple as that.

It's probably not a bad thing, a reality check to the players, and forcing CL to get rid of Dabizas, Dublin

with everyone kissing dublins arse after saturday and ignoring the only chances charlton had in the first half being contributed to by his inept positioning we wont be getting rid of him.

With both dion and dab scoring, it needed a result like this to remind every that both are a problem

... and a striker that can take the chances.

To be fair i dont think one match swayed CL's judgement, after the match he praised Dublin (who i actually think is ok at centre back, while Dabizas is another matter). A young pacey centre back witth Dublin could actually work
