The one possitive thing we can take from this match is that we should have won. city battled right up to the final whistle, yes we missed more opertunities than care to count. But it is a good reflection of CL motivational skills that no matter how many times the players screwed up, the kept going.
Things are so much better than they where, everyone needs to keep there head and remember rome was not built in a day.

The solution is simple.
One Liniker
One matty
and one Walshy
and all would be well

One cottie and a taggert would do

i know i dont know ure team like u do but i have to say im surprised at the negativity. as far as i can tell, 6 months there was no hope at all and yet now, instead of letting CL build for next season, ppl r gettin frustrated that LCFC aren't the finished product
of course not!! hes only been there 4 months or so, had his hands tied with players he can sign and took over, by all acounts, some ineffective players. what do u expect?

big mdv will be good for u. but hes a fragile kinda guy so dont get stuck into him, he needs ure support. for those complaining about how he hasnt scored yet, how many games has he started? 1? 2?
ure defense WILL get better, levein was one of the great defenders IMO and he knows what hes doing and what to look for in this department at the very least

patience boys! wait til next season ;)

Well I won't start another match thread - an unlucky omen probably.
Sorry

Apologies for last night. It had been a long hard day and I didn't geet home til late. Just felt a bit gutted because the best team didn't win. Levein will make us even better, and prat can tell you that (pehaps not Chandler)

This I think sums up everything I was thinking last night and It come from the main man himself

"Even at 3-1 down I still felt we had a chance of winning the match. What we needed to do was convert some of the many chances we made, so the combination of poor defending and that factor would explain why we lost." - Levein

At least now we have some definative transfer priorities!

I had a pint with Taggs after the stoke home game this season (me buying the tight git). Hes a legend. Said he wished he could have played that day, and that Micky was still in charge so he could have scored the goal that got him the sack  We talked about Ireland as well...he's from the same home town as my family.

Top bloke, surprisingly I was taller but it still looked like he could eat me for breatfast...he was built like a brick...well you know what I mean

I don't think we are going to ''get it right'' until next season. We just need to stay up this season and then CL can get the players he wants in,have a pre-season etc and I think a lot of the problems will have been ironed out.I still feel in the long term we have a lot to look forward to,CL is doing a total rebuild here,he's not just decorating the front room.

I think CL has done exceptionally well since he took over - given that it was well into the season and the mess that Micky had made of the content of the squad.

The team generally plays now with more spirit; he's moved on players who were obviously surplus even tho' it involves having a very small squad - too small for instance to launch a serious push for a play off place and he was right to not regard that as either feasible or even desirable at this stage of our reconstruction ... and the season is still alive because of the FA Cup run.

If Micky had stayed there would be total depression by now and there would have been great difficulty flogging tickets for next season -as it is we should go into the new season with unexpected optimism.
