Well said. I can only afford the very odd away game. The only 2 away games I've been to this season have been Cov and Forest. Why would I chose a game like Swansea over more important games when I can afford to go away to so few?

Most people cannot afford to follow their side home and away and Swansea at the beginning of the season is well down the priority list for most fans.

Indeed, I always put some money away to save for a ST. I only work part-time, as I also study part-time. Plus all the money that goes on rent/food/petrol and other essentials. It's really hard to afford away tickets along with the ST, so when I do go away, I'd rather it be a big game with a better atmosphere against either a top side or a local rival than a run-of-the-mill game like Swansea.

I do spend a large proportion of my non-essential money on a ST, yet some would have you believe I'm still not a proper fan, because I don't go to Swansea away. :icon_roll

Yeah, those fans piss me off as well, its only the last few seasons ive been able to go to away games, I'm just making the most out of being able to go away games as I know when I go uni and that I won't be able to.
