How have rotherham gone from asking memebers of the public and other teams fans for money, to being able to pay £65 for a player? £65K more than we are able to currently afford it seems?

They sold two players to Watford for a combined fee that could rise to £1 million.

He said it "may" do that, probably waiting for the go ahead from the board before being allowed to sign anyone.

He also said ""In an ideal world Chris is the type of younger player that you want to keep, but everyone is aware of the financial position we are in and unfortunately we are not able to do that."

So he's only been sold because we need the money.


Also noticed the OS report saying what time the signing had been officially completed (16:30) - presumably due to criticism about not having the story up earlier.
