Hazz (and everyone else), I left it with Chambo to try for a date at the Andrews but soedn't sound like it was successful.

Do you fancy looking into getting us 3g?

We have never paid for the pitch, just the food. Usually pay £5 each and the spare cash goes to charity

If it helps I have use of some 6 foot by 8 foot goals that my work brought for us to use.

Not massive but still good if we cant find an official pitch.

How about emailing the county FA and enquiring about Holmes Park? Now all the cup finals etc are out of the way they may be open to helping?

We try to be fair all round so we'll see how it plays out on the day.

I was kind of thinking we play on the charity thing and see if they offer it for free. We have been established for 3 years now so we have some background behind us.

Saturday/Sunday 5th/6th June (only just over a week away, before the WC starts, but too soon?)

(miss out the England weekend)

Saturday/Sunday 19th/20th June (plenty of time to get players sorted, but during world cup)

Having it during the WC might be a good idea, it gives us all an excuse to get down the pub afterwards.

Not bad, I got fed up of sitting at the back and when I ran forward them kids hanging onto it!

That and the fact running that much hurt! I might start making an appearance again now there's a friendly face (saying that you might be a right ugly ****)
