If you want to castrate and make someone a scapegoat tonight then all of your comments should be directed at Morisson. I think that was the worst performance I've ever seen by a defender. I can't believe how culpable he was for most of their goals. He absolutely gifted them 2.

Yes tonight was a terrible result. Yes we're in the relegation zone but we won't get relegated if we stick with the approach we've adopted. We probably won't reach the play offs this season but the team is in far better shape than where we were in 2007.

For one we're playing decent football and creating far more chances than we have ever done in the past 5 years. Our defence needs shoring up but we've got players who should have the ability to keep more than their fair share of clean sheets throughout a season.

I'm always one for giving the manager time to get things right and actually settle into the job, I have not really given an opinion one way or the other on Sousa but after watching that game and in particular the behavior of him and his number 2 during the game I think we should let him go.


**** off this ridiculous style of football, it's amazing that he thinks we are capable of doing it on a regular basis with the players we have, it is seriously harming the defence.


I don't know the answer but can we please just get someone in to sort out the basics and get us winning games again as we clearly have a squad capable of it using one system or another.

I am very worried at the moment.

MM does indeed seem to have screwed us over, not in the way people said he would (Selling assets bare) but in terms of getting rid of NP and bringing this manager in.

I typed milan to portsmouth in google and came up with a article from a local portsmouth paper saying hes already viewed their books . So yeah I want him gone but of course the problem is do these new owners care about how well this club does and understand the game enough to realise sousa has to go. Because if MM goes, hoos will go as well and then I can see a situation where they will bring someone in with no football experience at all to also replace hoos. Finally if sousa goes are they likely to replace him with another idiotic continental appointment. Our fortunes have turned sharply in only a matter of a few months, MM clearly desperate to get portsmouth back with much of their debts written off at a time when he had a good thing going here. With NP here we would have quite likely pressed on to another playoff finish, possibly top 2 with enough investment.

A new manager not only has to fix the tactics and the training but also the player's confidence which is now wrecked.

I am not sure who I would bring in but I suspect 95% of managers would do a better job that sousa simply by going back to basics.
