But, on the other hand, this adversity is drawing us all closer together.

I now think of you as members of my family. Except Homer. He's like my Mum's friend who made me keep a secret.

Imagine. You are a wealthy Thai business man with a personal fortune of over £100 million.

You have just bought a club for nearly a third of your total wealth. Would you keep this manager?

No. He's got two more games and then he's gone.

They will have heard of Martin O'Neill.....

Brilliant, I've done similar things myself. Says a lot doesn't it?

I don't know. I just have a general malaise towards sports of all variety at the minute. Every major sport seems to be on the edge of something awful.

The NFL is almost certainly going to be on strike/lockout in 2011. NBA, same thing.

As for football, the money spinning around the game, it all gets further and further away from the average fan.

I know most of you don't give a monkeys about the other sports...but there seems to be issues in all sports and all leagues, related to money and the working man.

It's a dark time for sports, the fix is in worldwide thanks to the money men.

I think one of the reasons I'm not panicking too much about Sousa or the result tonight is that I have reached a point where there are just more important things in my life to worry about. I have come to the conclusion that I can not affect the club in any meaningful way and that our fans will continue to be rash, snap decision making idiots on the whole and I am tired of fighting it.

In a way I hope we do sack Sousa and do it now. Then when it turns out that the players just aren't that great and over achieved last season the fans will have no-one else to blame.

Certainly. There have been so many bad results recently (city and panthers in my case) that being depressed about it would leave me basically incapable of functioning in society.

Hi all

I was so incensed with what I've just seen that I have to vent my fury somewhere.

Tonights game for me highlighted the following;

1. We don't have good enough players to play a continental passing game. QPR and Portsmouth tonight pressed us high up the pitch and we then concede possesion (which lead to Pompey's 4th goal). In this league you need (as we did last season) to play to your strengths.

2. Sousa seems tactically naive. Why didn't Hobbs start? Why play Oakley ahead of Wellens, the latter is more likely to put his foot on the ball and can play a pass. Why are players not supporting Howard more when the ball is played up to him?

3. We can't defend as a team. Our new system leaves us open to counter attacks. To do this effectively players have to work exceptionally hard to win the ball back which clearly isn't happening.

Logan was our best player. He cannot be blamed for any of the goals. The only other positive is that things CANNOT get worse than this, can they??

Welcome!! You couldn't have picked a better time to join. or.....

i think souza's time at the club is rapidly coming to an end as it should after that shambles

I think the next manager should be Chris Powell

he is already on the staff, has the respect of the players, can communicate with them which souza cant and surely cant do any worse

tell me if you agree

I did him.

I deleted the abusive he aimed at another forum member earlier, but if people react to that by becoming more abusive they're asking to be banned.

Well, yes obviously.

"You are being warned...calm down"

"F**K OFF YA C**T!!!!"
