Not seen loads of him but from the highlights and what is said about him, he seems an ideal candidate to join us as we are short on the wide players and he should count as an U21 so wouldn't require a dedicated squad place too.

Whether he would want to come for a squad place too is another matter but definitely think we could do with a back-up winger in before the end of the window.

To make it a viable options to sell one of our best players.. £35/40m? The big TV deal comes in next year so, as has been hinted at by another poster - Anything up to £20m isn't really worth consideration. Mahrez has the ability. The main difference between the real big players is they can do it all the time so the waiting game is on to see if Mahrez can sustain this kind of form over the whole season and beyond.

I think the owners will resist all offers this year and just see how far up the table this squad can take us.

If Mahrez continues as he has started, and even gets better as Ranieri has suggested, then he will be worth VERY big bucks come next May.
