Speculation ThaiSweetChili's annoying, but traditional, totally unfounded Summer15 rumours thread

For the purposes I stated he could potentially be used for yes I am serious...

And stop calling me Shirley.

West Ham released him recently because they clearly couldn't find a taker before the transfer window closed.

And we aren't exactly short of cover in central midfield - I'd much rather have Inler, Kante, Drinkwater, King, Hammond or even a crocked Matty James in the team.

I hate Nolan in many many ways.

If Mahrez goes to Barca that would be amazing. He'd be brilliant for them as well.

Amazing? I'd be ****ing gutted

Nearly as gutted as I would be if we signed that prick Nolan

It would actually be good for the club imo. Firstly, Barca are in a position to pay a lot of money and we are in a position to plough it all back into the first team. Secondly, it would show every player in Europe that Leicester is a club where you can play, reach your potential and get to the very top.

Can't help thinking the escalating excitement about Mahrez is premature.

Yes, I think he's been excellent and continues to improve and I do love watching him run at opponents. However, he has just been kicked out of game with one slightly dodgy tackle from a Bournemouth player. He was also rather inconsistent last season and was dropped several times. Both these points suggest to me that he's a million miles away from a move to Barca or even Arsenal.

If he delivers week in, week out this season and finishes with a dozen goals and similar assists, then it's worth the conversation.

We need him this season, without him we are very low in truly creative players.

I can believe that they are watching him, but that's a long way from making an offer.

If Mahrez does leave then he will have given us an amazing season.

Kevin Nolan is training with Leyton Orient apparently. I would be gutted if they beat us to his signing.

Nothing wrong with the Orient. Had fun visiting that ground during our League 1 campaign. Lost my voice cheering when Fryatt and King scored at the end. The away support almost sucked the ball into the net that afternoon. It was a fine example of support lifting a team.
