I would expect another centre back either way. I doubt we'd buy someone as cover for 7 weeks.

I don't get all the disdain Waghorn receives. The only season he played a full one for us he scored 12 goals, most of these coming from the bench, so I wouldn't worry at all about filling a void if Beckford were to leave and I am pretty much certain that if he was to go, a cheaper alternative would be brought in so we wouldn't be down on numbers.

Centre half wise - a 4th was always going to arrive anyway but losing sledge for upto 8 weeks is a big blow IMO, I'd imagine we'd be looking for another acomplished player now though due to the injury rather than a Morrisson type signing.

He's only strained the ligament and he's going to be out for 6-8 weeks? Bollocks
I did mine last week and doctor said it's torn, but wouldn't give me any idea of how long it takes to heal.... 6-8 weeks at least then I guess!
