I don't get this notion that Pearson sides play boring football. I remember a host of games in our first season back in the Championship under NP which were some of the best Leicester games I've been to. When we beat Forest and QPR towards the end of that season we were amazing. He's bought in players like Marshall, Cleverley and Davies who could really turn on the style and Marshall in particular has scored some incredible goals... I really don't get how our football under Pearson is boring.
I don't want my defenders providing entertainment We have a midfield
and an attack to do that. I want my defenders to tackle win headers and clear their lines.
You may say that - but my guess is that the majority of fans would be sorry to see Bamba leave. I could bore you with a list of defenders for both our club and others who have been both effective and entertaining, but it's too hot today to bother.
But surely the point is that Bamba is not effective - and his antics certainly don't entertain me. I think the majority of fans see Bamba for exactly what he is.
I think Pearson would prefer to keep him, but not on the high wage he's currently on. If we do get rid of him, I think it will be to balance the books rather than because he can't do a job in this league - having players on that kind of money is completely unsustainable. I just hope we can find a decent replacement for a reasonable fee. Or perhaps Vardy is that replacement?

Out with the old, in with the new.Why is it that when a player is signed some people automatically assume that a player must be leaving?
Why does Vardy being brought in make it any more likely that Beckford will, or will not for that matter, be leaving? Could it not just be that NP is looking to add Vardy to the squad so we have more than Beckford, Nugent and Waghorn as strikers with first-team experience?
As people mention, Bamba is great for entertainment but I think his unpredictability causes too much uncertainty. I'd much prefer a Gerry Taggart style of defender.
Looks like Shorey in and Konchesky out could be a possibility. Don't ask for a link, this is the rumours thread!
Like for like I'm told.I'd be surprised if it's one in one out as I just don't see the benefit of that. From what I've seen and heard of Shorey he's probably on a similar level to Konchesky.
Unless he can play right back?
Like for like I'm told.
