Surely feather that was just quack putting waddle duck related words mallard into a sentence .

According to Crewe fans, we have had a bid for their midfielder Luke Murphy rejected. Wolves and Blackburn have had bids accepted.

Very good on Football Manager.

I'm so annoyed that this thread hasn't annoyed me yet. Most boring pre-season for a while?

Neil Warnock in frame for Leicester City job

The position of Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson remains uncertain with the possibility that the club’s Thai owners could make a move for Neil Warnock, before the end of the month.

Pearson was back in training with his players yesterday after major changes at the club over the summer. The former Premier League chairman Sir Dave Richards has come in as a consultant and while he was chairman of Sheffield Wednesday when Pearson played there, it is not certain the club will continue with the manager next season.

Warnock is available but may need some convincing given his decision to retire after leaving Leeds last season.

I thought former Premier League chairman Sir Dave Richards had denied that he was taking up a post with the club.

Is this all punishment for having employed Peter Taylor as manager? Or is it because spion was horrid to Denis Wise?

I do not think that it is any secret, that I REALLY wanted to see Pearson replaced but, SURELY, it is too late now.

I do think that it is odd that we haven't made a single signing (Yes, I know that the whole market is slow due to FFP) but, this has to be lazy journalism....... doesn't it? :102:
