So how come Greg Clarke has some £465K at the last accounts. Ask him next time you see him. That is if he flys in from Australia were he now lives and works.

Martin George would have liked to put some money into the club, that is until they voted him off the board.

Thes directors have no intension of putting any more of their own money into the club hence the lack of investment in the reinforcing of the stadium.

I believe I am right in saying that last season Kasabian (is that right) offered to play for nothing and woulkd have no douby filled that stadium but the club would not fund it.

These directors put in as little as they could in order to secure a part share in our club. Some invested as little as £25K others a mere £100k. For people who have very good businesses this is chicken feed. They got it on the cheap and now use it as their toy thing. Hence the lack of further investment. Most of them are not even city fans.

The Ft raised over £300k and still cannot get a seat on the board, why, because the directors fear they would upset the apple cart by putting forward the fans views.

Both TNBD and JBBD are Greg Clarke appointees sanctioned by the board and do exactly as instructed. He's no longer here and still he runs the show. Not bad for someone personally responsible for setting the wheels in motion that took us into administration.

more like there veiw or should i say some of there members view and you have to pay for that right :( so it wont be a fans view now will it it would be a FT view

A little birdy told me that Martin George is a current shareholder!

I wonder how many he has/is allowed to acquire?

BTW Great win yesterday, for both LCFC and the Leicestershire Foxes:icon_bigg

Why not approach some of the cdonsortiums who have failed to buy Villa. They have cash and want to buy someone....

of course, why did nobody else think of that one? They should be falling over themselves to buy us........ got to get rid of their cash somehow

Martin George bought 50,000 shares three years ago, I don't know if he's bought any more since then. I imagine he's allowed to acquire the same number as anyone else.

No he hasn't. Originally he had more but sold them when he came off the board

She has been working on some pricing promotions with other companies, which basically see them funding the promotions, not sure how many are finalised.

Basically, working on her own projects then????????

Tarra Luv.....

The Board clearly could not find its own arse with its own hands. FFS Get the clowns that are running the show out of there as they are a drag and a brake on the efficient operation of the Club and on taking the Club forwards. :icon_evil :icon_evil

If the rules on share ownership were relaxed then that would almost certainly lead to some the old board who's actions resulted in administration or the directors who fought with O'neill.

Would the fans be happy with the return of either?

The fans were confused on the issue of the Gang of Four by their support for Martin O'Neill. Their downfall led to a situation where the governance of the club went out of control and ultimately to the club almost going out of existence. I have often said that if a working relationship had been forged between MON and Barry Pierpoint, the Club would be in a far healthier state today.

Some of the present lot are 'plastics' compared with what we had then.

If they are looking to invest in a football club they won't find a better bargain than Leicester. If your going to spend £70 million buying Villa well buy us for £10 million, Give us 30 million to spend, Upgrade the stadium to 40,000 (cost £5-10 million) and you have what could easily be a top 6 team in the Premiership for what would be the inital investment in Villa.

Exactly, the gang of four looked like a bad option at the time because we all loved MON and he had some issues with Barry, the fact that MON walked soon after and left a club with no strong commercial direction and no coaches was the start of our downturn.

Pierpoint was a bit of a tosser, but he certainly knew how to run things... perhaps Bucci should get some lessons from him...

2) Every FT board member who has had direct contact with Jo Bucci has come back with a favourable impression of her. She has identifed a number of areas of commercial activity that needs attention, but not all of those can be delivered within weeks or even months.
There are certain commercial deals where she has significantly increased revenue to the club, but we can't go into details through confidentiality issues.

You didnt see that fecker coming did you, again the FT left in the dark :102:

She was actually enjoying the job until she heard that the FT had given her that 'vote of confidence' on TB. Then she thought, "**** it - if the FT are on my side, I'm off!"
