Yeah he would, considering he played and captained the side that finished runners up in this league 2 seasons ago and spent last season in the prem suggests he would more than hold his own if he signed for us and IMO would be excellent alongside Kisnorbo.

That's true. And I don't think he's been properly fit for the last 5 years even though he still managed to score 8 from 30 while at Liverpool 2nd time around.
