according to various newspapers city have agreed in principle to complete a deal to bring izale mcleod in from mk dons for £400,000.another story is that we are set to sign claus jensen on a 3 year deal and apparently (hope not) jason lee from notts county for an undisclosed amount

Jensen is class ..... in the 2 or 3 games a season he is fit. Saw him take Arsenal apart last year, but then he was out again for months.

Jason Lee ...... maybe the idea is to make Elvis look like a red-hot marksman and boost his saleability. :icon_bigg

Really getting quite worried about who we are going to have as a midfield for the new season. If some of the people we have offered terms to or players we are in contact with don't start giving us some positive answers pretty soon, we'll have to go after some real dregs just to have a squad.

we may never have spoken to matt holland....its the tabloids! if a player thinks about joining our club then decides against it as we don't offer him all the bonnie marbles then **** him

Dundee United will complete the douple swoop of Mark De Vries and Alan Maybury from Leicester City.

Leicester City have joined the race to sign Matt Holland who is out of favour at Charlton with his former club Ipswich also after the Irish. midfielder.

he's never been that impressive though has he? he may be one of our best players but seriously thats not any great achievement

stearman has still got a role to play at the walkers. i'd like to see him put a bit of weight on and get in the gym and turn it in to muscle :icon_cool

Stearman was doing well before the season just gone, and when he was being linked with moves away last summer, many were saying that we shouldn't consider selling him for less than £1m. When Sunderland bid for him, the FT said it was a 7 figure sum, but still much lower than the club's valuation of him. He's had a bad year, but he's still only 19. And they all had a bad year!

I would definitely keep hold for now... see how he does under someone who will demand more from the players and is a better motivator. Hoping he will come good.
