We need to be looking at the likes of Robbie Fowler. We should use Portsmouth when Mandaric was there as a blueprint. Their promotion was achieved on the back on Paul Merson, Tim Sherwood, Steve Stone, Shaka Hislop etc. I want players who have proven themselves to be wearing a City shirt next year.

Milan Mandaric has contacted Chris Coleman despite having hired Nigel Worthington. Milan, however, still wants Nigel to be involved with the club and could play a key role if Coleman accepts the job. QPR have showed an intrest in Coleman but his wage demand could see QPR fall into turmoil so Mike Newell looks certain to get the club. If Coleman is put in charge expect some suprise transfer swoops. Also, Milan has told Rab Douglas, Elvis Hammond and Mark De Vris that they have no future at the club. However, Hammond could be saved should Coleman come in as Hammond played under Coleman during his Fulham days.
