Eddie Johnson would be a good signing. Only heard of a few of the other ones, Riordon would probably be alright. Heard of Civelli before, but I've heard he's average at best.

This is all foreign to me, how do you lot find the time, or the interest to know who these players are. Until a players signs for City or Liverpool I couldn't give a feck about them. Never heard of any in that list

I must admit, I only hear of these players either through footy manager or staying up late watching programmes like Goalissimo. Also, my housemate Mike knows a lot about obscure clubs and players so I pick up a lot from him.

City just after the completion of Mandaric's takeover attempted to do a deal with Forest over midfielder Lewis McGugan. Whilst the basics were agreed, compensation fee couldn't be agreed.
However, City are still very interested in signing him.
