Not sure TBH, but i am quite convinced that Sheff Weds won't go down. Southampton or us (before today of course!) look the most likely.

you know nothing of the crunch

It will be either Southampton or Barnsley I reckon.......

At the moment, it's a no-brainer: Southampton are in terrible form, have tricky matches ahead, and have played as many games as city.
What is the betting, however, that after next Saturday, things will change again? I agree with comments made in other posts and threads, that our goal difference could be important although, if we were to go on a run, we could realistically finish in the top half of the table! I can never remember a division comprising so many teams of equal ability.

Having just looked at the remaining fixtures of our relegation companions IMO Southampton are in the biggest pile of shit out of all of us. They have to go to Charlton and West Brom, although the later of those appear to struggle at home to the teams at the foot of the table. They have 3 home games against Bristol C, Burnley and Sheff Utd. On current form they may struggle to pick up another point this season with the set of fixtures they have left. So as of this week, thats who I reckon will join Scunny and Colchester in League 1. Ask me again next week though :icon_wink

I think it's between us and Saints now.

They have the worst run in of the lot and do seem to be self-destructing.

Whether we can pick up more points than them I don't know.
Winning back to back games would be an achievement in itself!

I don't see how people can be ruling Sheff Wed out of it yet. I know they have two games in hand but the Sheff Wed fan I know is as panicy about winning them as we were yesterday, they are by no means points in the bag.

If we hadn't rolled over and died at Soton they would have been in serious trouble, we were the only team in 11 games to let them beat us.

Indeed,I think Coventry may well beat them.Best thing that could happen for us if they did IMO
