Wallet's gone missing,suspect its been stolen at Alton Towers which was a big pisser, however to replace a card driving license it's going to cost me £20. 2 problems with this. One, my money and cards were obviously in the wallet. So that's stupid. But also, why £20?! Can somebody explain this? And I know they aren't different funds, but we pay both road tax and very very high tax on fuel here in Britain. Does this have nothing to do with licensing?

A colleague of mine lost his wallet after a flight to Edinburgh from Bristol couple of days ago. However, the lucky fecker found the thing by the door of his car in the airport carpark when he got back, all cash and cards intact. What were the chances of that?
