No you're a bad dad 'cos you've got to help them with their English homework......:icon_conf

The atmosphere at walkers is crap - let's just face up to that fact. I only go to away games now because I don't like sitting in that uninspiring stadium.

You've only been once :icon_roll

Stop going to that fecking place then?

I personally have stopped sitting in The Family Stand. I found the stewarding to over-zealous to any show of passion.

It's current awkward where it is. Homer's hit the nail on the head. A family section elsewhere in the ground would be better. The current stand is too large, let's remember how relatively small the Family Stand was at Filbo.

I have never heard anybody complain in the 3 years I have been in there, was it lots of people or just one wanker?

about 6 people around us plus 3 stewards i must say that they where not the one's moaning at us but other peeps that where sining and chanting, we sat behind the goal about 4 rows up from the front in the family stand when it was the BMI stand for 1/2 a season then could not stand it no more so moved back to the kop and loved it ever since then :icon_wink

Nowhere near me so I can't comment on the people. I'm on your side Newts, singing should be accepted everywhere, it's part of football.

I have. I had a person to the right of us who moaned a lot. And then people to the left one and two rows below us moaning. The people directly below us were alright, although there was another there who liked a good argument about City's backline. Kids aged 9,11,13 were in our party.

yeah people look at me gone out when Im singing, Im like whats your problem?

This is BaadDad actually:

I used to sit in P2 and found the stewarding very relaxed - a bit too relaxed as they never used to tell folk off for smoking. Most games they would just have a natter to themselves.
Also, I never heard anybody sing in our area at all. One girl who used to sit next to us would lie across her dad's knee and go to sleep and she was about 6/7 years old! Other kids would bring colouring books and games consoles. The ones that really ticked me off though, were the adults who would bring a picnic hamper and eat and drink the whole way through the game.
I really think that these sort of supporters should just stay at home and watch a match on the telly.

I agree with those who say that the family area should be moved to the South Stand and let's have the Kop back next to the away fans and behind the goal.

All these people moaning around you, maybe you are just ugly?

But why ?

They've paid their money and they are entitled to enjoy their football in whatever way they choose - and if that means eating, drinking reading or sleeping then why should they be dictated to as to how they must behave ?
