At 5'11 he's certainly one of the smaller centre-backs in the country. He also seems a bit lightweight.

Though I guess he's significantly quicker than our other CBs and if his positioning and reading of the game is excellent then that may make other weaknesses less important.

I agree. Excellent for all parties.... Except the poor bastards who end up watching Ghezzal week in week out.

Soyuncu and Evans will start, its then who is 3rd choice plus the likes of Pascanu, Johnson and Hughes are in reserve if we have that many injuries.

There is no desperate need for a replacement, but if the right deal is available then great.

As someone who has been reading your posts for many years, I can confirm that you know feck all.

They certainly won't develop if we never play them.

Ricardo and Chilwell were both wobbly, bordering on liabilities, early on. You have to play talent and accept the odd mistake.

It doesn't. I'm with you on this one. Soyuncu as first choice alongside Evans. Morgan and Benko in reserve. Unless Rodgers feels Ajer is super quality and a a snip at £15m.

I’m going to trust his judgement, particularly after he saw Benkovic for 6 months last season. If he doesn’t feel they’re good enough yet, that’s good enough for me.

everything he has said was that he is happy to go with the 4 we have got if we don't see any value, we should always be looking to sign someone, in every position, we should be looking for someone to come in and replace Vardy for example, you never know when a great deal might present itself to you.

That doesn't mean there is a great need to rush out and sign someone.

That’s called a negotiation tactic. He’s desperate to get someone else in.
