Speculation The hysterical and annoying, but traditional, totally unfounded summer 2018 rumours thread.

If they Sell Wembley for £600m or more (weve only owned it for 10yrs btw for all those who think its like selling the crown jewels) they will invest a truckload into 4G pitches and grassroots facilities and coaching....factoid...
No one can argue that the youth investment isn't bearing fruit we win every f#cking tournament we are in. There can be more done to effectively underpin that though.

Maybe, maybe not. Juventus don't want to sell him so will only sell him for the right price so offering £7m below their valuation is not going to work, meanwhile someone comes in with the £18m asking price and we've missed out.

If a house worth 200k is put up for sale with an asking price of 600k it won't sell.

Just because Juve decide that not playing football all season makes him bizarrely more valuable doesn't mean he is.

Maybe it should be less about winning tournaments and more about producing good quality senior players.

I'm not very good with Spanish

After a great end of season, the Levante de Paco López considers the return of Vicente Iborra to consecrate him with one of the main standards of the next Valencian project. Thus Cope Valencia Sports has advanced , with the express confirmation of Vicente Blanco 'Tito', sports director of the club azulgrana. For the moment, the entity has asked for the cost of the operation to bring back the ex-Savillista.

The Leicester midfielder has emerged as one of the footballers who take Levantinism by flag, and is even a member of the club. He left the Levantinistas in the summer of 2013 heading to lands of Seville, with a payment of six million euros of his clause . After having played four campaigns at a high level in the Nervionian club, last summer he went to British lands for round figures at 14 million euros.

It seems a difficult return for the salary he receives and the cost of his signing for the English club, even so 'Tito' is already testing the ground for the arrival of Spanish, assessing the viability of it.

Iborra is a good enough player when fit. Sadly it means we need another good enough player for all the time he isn't. If the offers right and we can get a replacement I'd not complain.

He's our best midfielder by a ****ing a mile.
Is a ****ing mile longer or shorter than an English mile? And how does it compare to a nautical mile?

I probably agree with you anyway.

How ****ing so?

Consistency and fitness? Iborra can be quality on his day but most of the time he's out injured or looks like he's been binging on pints and snouts before games. His lack of fitness is a big worry.

Fair point, actually
