Why would he want to stay at a side so unambitious that they only win the FA Cup and finish top 6 twice in two years despite the obvious ****ing chasm in cash and squad quality that exists between them and the traditional 'big 6' (and others)?

Honestly, the nappy filling and rattle throwing on here is flaptastic. Get a grip of yourselves.

Unambitious. FFS.
What I don't get, and I don't know if the point has already been made, but Tielemans is good enough and will probably eventually leave for PSG, Man City, Barca or Real. If anybody thinks he would turn down a move there simply because we were also in the CL needs to check their medication.

Don't be so negative

I don't see why we would sign Kabak unless it's as 4th centre half and with Wes and Fuchs wages off the books it become viable. Both were on a fair wedge no doubt. As far as i could see Kabak wasn't the equal of Fofana, Evans or Soyuncu.
I can see whay Pereira would interest us. Quality player and could play a sort of Benrahma role coming in for 30-40% of games to mix up the approach when we need to be on the front foot more.
I think he would/should play a lot more than 30-40% of games if we sign him. Did you see our attack towards the end of the season?

Yep. It had
- no Harvey Barnes who was one of the most potent attackers in the league until his injury
- a half fit James Maddison who had scored and assisted more than Mount, Grealish and Foden until his injury.
- a half fit Jamie Vardy who had been level with the leagues top goalscorers until his pelvic injury flared up again.
It then had Iheanacho who scored more goals than anyone during March/April....
Assuming they're all fit for the start of next season and we've signed Edouard then i'd say 40% is about right.....

Just imagine if even 2 out of the three had gone injury free. Even one win more would have seen us over the line. Margins... fine margins.

Tarka is certainly not worth the outrageous fee they were demanding last season, but if we can get him in for a reasonable price as an addition to the current centre backs it would do us wonders in regards to putting a few more points on the table and aiming for some more silverware.

I've not rated Tarkowski whenever I've seen him. Not rubbish but nothing great either. Maybe that's what we want in a backup player but not at whatever last season's price was.... £40M?? Nah, less than half that maybe... but wtf do I know about prices? Pick a number.

Can he bring the ball out of defence and set up attacks? This is what BR wants I thought he was a traditional no nonsense CD.

I think Tarkowski is as good as any central defender in the country. He's criminally underrated because he plays for Burnley and he isn't allowed to play the way he is capable of. His stats show up very well despite the style of play he is tied into.

Absolutely no question for me that he's every bit as good as Maguire for example.

I totally agree with all of this. He's an excellent player.
