If they want him 3 weeks before the season starts then can pay twat tax for him. £64m and Harvey Elliot OR Curtis Jones should do it.
That said - if Top and the team don't want him to go, then he aint going.....
 
It will be horrific to see him playing for another Prem team but let's be honest, it's our own fault for throwing away the one thing we needed to keep him here, again.

We will have to live with losing our best players

Why not?

We paid £32m two years ago so we'd be doubling our money on an asset that can only deteriorate in value now. If he has made up his mind to move on, we either sell this summer for this sort of price, or we keep an unhappy player and get maybe £30m next summer.

It's all about the new contract. If Tielemans has made it clear that he isn't going to be signing one, we really need to sell him this summer. Our entire business model is based on selling high and reinvesting.

And once again, it isn't just Tielemans. We have both Ricardo and Soyuncu in exactly the same situation with neither player showing any sign of renewing their contracts.

I‘m afraid this is true

Tielemans is Champions League standard, and we have completely ****ed his opportunity to play in it two years running

£60/70 million and he’s gone

Ah - you're right - the mockery were reporting 40m which we said the time wasn't right.
Based on our previous sales though I'd be surprised if we took 64 rather than say 80.
 
But working on the monkeys/typewriters principal. If they print enough crap, sooner or later they might stumble across a bit of news.
