They are the two obvious positions but the manager has never been quite so open before. That possibly suggests that he knows the club are quite advanced at both.

The main left back I've seen us linked with is Robin Gosens and the main right winger is Jeremie Boga on loan.

They will all be bang average players or players who need loads of time to adapt I would imagine.

More likely they are Soumare / Daka than Faes /..... Yea Faes

The Times (behind paywall) also has story about BR saying he has money to spend and the next two windows will see a big overhaul. I really hope we have some early January names lined up like we used to, and not wait until deadline day.
 
Do we trust Brendog to do the squad overhaul? He ****ed up the overhaul at Liverpool, and doesn’t exactly have a great track record here.

I can only hope the club have taken transfers away from him now that Congerton has ****ed off.

Congerton’s gone. That Southampton guy is in now.

I don’t trust Brendan to do it, BUT if he’s not holding the pen, then it’s probably ok

If things are not going well by this time next year, BR will have no excuses left (unless we have lots of 'Maddison' injuries in the squad).

Surely it has to be Martyn Glovers remit to find the players. Great reputation at Southampton.
