After watching a couple of Spurs games I'm surprised that Cooper never tried to get Djed Sence on loan in the summer. He never got a look in at Spurs until injuries forced him to be played and has spent most of his time out on loan. Cooper knew him from his time at Forest and he's looked pretty solid playing on either side. Definitely better than what we've got

Back to rumours, rumour has it from a buddy of mine at LCFC that we will be signing players but we need to get rid of wages first. Personally, I’d like to see us go for it this window. It’s not easy to balance. If we spend a **** load and we go down anyway, we’ll be even more ****ed. Hamza out will help a bit. Moves like goon for Edouard is what’s screwed us. Surely we’re paying for half of his wages?

Is it worth planning our signings around relegation? I hate to be a defeatist…

the right back situation in the summer looked very different. Just not a priority. Justin ( who had shown premiership quality in the past ) and Ricardo were good options.

He was largely very good for us prior to his most recent injury. He was also highly rated at Luton.

I think it’s injuries, confidence, the lack of decent support next to him, and I think he’s a better left back than a right back.

Confidence is a huge thing, imho. But, yes, maybe the lack of a calming ear alongside him too, I hadn't considered that. Faes is more concerned with his baldy locks, and Coady is praps all mouth and trousers.

I think its more than just confidence.

I think Cooper tactics left him completely exposed. He asked him to do more than he was capable of, confused what his role was. Combined with a being part of a back four that is just generally poor it means his form has dropped, his confidence is gone and now being targeted by opposition.
