I expect them to study the error and learn from it. who would you put a new, inexperienced person on the job everytime a mistake was made? would that be safer?

So if it happens again, what then, have another inquiry and slap a few more arses ?:icon_roll

Bet you had loved to have been him,in the bullet proof vest and all the gear, protecting your country's citizens against pure evil:icon_lol:

I cant think of a more worthy job than risking your life for others. I wouldnt have the bottle to do it but I certainly admire those that do. You want to lock the feckers up becuase something went wrong in the heat of the moment once :icon_roll

When it happens again they will do exactly the same as they did this time: try to cover up their tracks; release misinformation and try to discredit the victim.

No. much better idea. Give all the armed units a pay off, send them behnd a desk and invite the terrosit fraternity to make hay in our country.

What is the ****ing world coming to :102::102:

I want the person who ordered an innocent man to be shot dead in cold blood to be brought to justice, just like any other Murderer would be.I see no wrong in that.
Thats the end of my contribution, they have got off so you and Feroil should be happy.Lets hear it for good old fashioned British Justice:038::038:

I know it wasn't aimed at me, but i know i would freeze in that situation, and that is more dangerous IMO

Okay, if we did things your way, and the next time someone blows themself up because the people on the job were too scared to get it wrong. Hundreds die. would you let them off with that? would that be a mistake? would you expect them to be punished for their decision?

Read post 65,that is all I want

Not one person answered the 'shoot' 'dont shoot' scenario. I can only conclude that nobody can actually put themself in the gunmans position. Says it all really.

Anything else is just giving aid and support to terrorists. :icon_sad:

I can answer easily, given the same situation I would not have shot him.

If I was told by my Senior to shoot I would,I am not blaming the Gunman, why can't you see that or perhaps you choose not to

So you would then rightly expect to go to prison (if you also werent killed) for not doing your job?

You're going to have to explain that one DF.
Are you suggesting it was in his job description to kill someone??? :102:
