Nor sure about why there has been a silence.

Some employees have met him, shareholders have been informed by letter - having received this we requested a meeting & are seeing him next week.

Looking forward to hearing what you make of him, FT!

I'm lovin' it........

have I missed something? Is this guy meant to be becoming a part of our beloved club soon..

If he was Robbie Williams, he might dance with you and then invite you for a ride on his twelve cylinder symphony!

And Count Basie would provide cover:

the ex CEO of McDonalds is becoming our chairman of the board??

what the fooooooooooks going on here?

Possibly on the same subject (?) This was posted on TFF yesterday:

I have it on good authority that Leicester will be unveiling a new chairman tomorrow. His first task will be to offer Rob Kelly the manager's role on a permanent contract which he will accept.

The new chairman is a high flyer with top level corporate experience and a life long city fan, so sounds positive all round.

Hmmm.....Martin George?

It has gone extremely quiet since the rumpus at the end of February / early March, but now that the team is safe and there is a general feel good factor around the club and supporters, it wouldnt surprise me if now was the time that certain staff and boardroom changes were made public, the likelihood of a negative reaction from the fans will have been diluted by the euphoria of securing our place in the championship and the obvious hope and anticipation that is now surrounding next seasons campaign.

I wouldnt be at all surprised if Rob Kelly was unveiled at a press conference that is also announcing a major restructure of the clubs administration.

No, not Martin George. The name has not changed since I used it in the first message of this thread.

He has Martin George's approval though. Which is a good thing I believe.

Certainly a positive thing IMO, will be interesting to see, if this appointment happens, whether Martin George will become more involved again.

Lets hope this guy has some drive and ambition unolike the current chairman who is non existent.

I understand that this one will be a 'working' chairman and drawing a salary.

Excellent news!! A demotion for TD then in a way???

I haven't been able to find out anything about the position of TD or the Gucci-bird. It doesn't look as though we will have much longer to wait for the answer though.

Surely the end for TD, a working chairman must mean that Timbo's role becomes redundant ???

Interesting, would seem huge overkill to have a working chairman, Chief Exec and the tea lady!!

That would depend on how much work it is intended that the chairman does, I suppose.

What is clear is that this is in response to the perceived cock-up a short time ago. Time will tell whether we will see it as an improvement or not.
