I had a call from one of these once, I think it may have been TalkTalk or some other shitty telecoms company that makes promises it has no intention of keeping. The guy claimed to be called Joe McDonald :icon_lol: I called him a liar and the call just deteriorated from there.

Depends how their database works. Chances are they use idiotic KPIs that have nothing to do with an employee's competence yet still affect how they're treated by the company, such as number of leads removed from the system. The twat phoning you may not want that on his figures and will just put you to the back of the queue rather than removing you from it, so somebody else in the same office rings you a few days later.
