It really is a wonderful piece of 'security' that appears to be there only to **** people off. It's stopped asking me for my password after a while but if I ever need to use the other half's card then it pops up.

I think it's something that's always pissed people off; this is a continuous situation, ie Verified By Visa is and always has been a concept that is, at any given time, pissing off someone somewhere.

I suspect you're letting the presence of the word "new" confuse you. Blame Boc. Perhaps now it's more than two and a half years old, we should drop the word from the thread title.
