Seems we're fairly good value for money for the Championship... Quite an interesting survey from the BBC.

Value is a very subjective thing and I don't believe value is in any way given for 90 minutes at the true cost of attending. Again, that's just my opinion and it holds as much water as the bag containing the last fairground goldfish I won.

Although I agree the price of football to attend a single match is extortionate these days, it is nice to see that we are one of the better value clubs in the division. Bearing in mind the investment the board has made this summer, they could have justified putting us on the higher end of the scale.

I can understand Watford being top, their season ticket prices when we went down there last season were absolutely ridiculous. However, I don't know if that was a joint season ticket with Watford & Saracens (I think they are the team that play there) in which case it might not be so daft.

Watford are the cheapest.

Also I didn't see that while Ipswich have the cheapest tickets in the Championship, they also have the most expensive! £59 to watch that bag of shite?!

I know, but that was my point (although poorly made) their season tickets were ridiculously high priced if I remember, so their general tickets for home games would have to be cheap to have anyone in the ground. I would imagine they won't have many season ticket holders. For some reason I have a figure of an adult one of being £600 in my head..

Cost of an adult season ticket for them is either £395 or £520 this season

Ah, gotya, sorry!

To me value is a really subjective measurement. If I paid £300 for a season ticket and I saw my team play poor football or with little spirit or commitment (aka pashun), perhaps losing more games than we win, I may deem that of somewhat less value than paying £450 for a season ticket and seeing my team play exciting, winning football full of spirit, commitment, pashun etc.

To trump that lot, value is probably rare as the deciding factor when you conisder buying tickets to watch your team. I suspect blind tribalism plays a large part.
