Saw this in the paper today, absolutely shocking performance from the Ref, by the sounds of it. Do you know if the other two reds were deserved?

On what grounds do you call it an absolutely shocking performance? Yes, the streaker should not have been on the pitch but the force used was way more than was necessary to remove him. The player was guilty of violent conduct, just as he would have been if he had done the same to one of his opponents or one of his own team-mates - it's a red card offence.

No idea about the other sendings-off.

I do agree if he was hauled to the ground and pasted it would have been a red card offence. HOWEVER tackling a streaker in order to proceed with the game should not warrant a red card and I am sure that many people would agree.

I watched the video.

It's a shocker because its a case where common sense should have prevailed.

Commonsense did prevail and so did the Laws of the Game. The player was shown a red card for violent conduct.

...tackling a streaker in order to proceed with the game should not warrant a red card and I am sure that many people would agree.

Only those who have not read and understood the Laws of the Game.
