Then he's not one of our lot anymore.

The finances on the Neymar deal are astonishing and yet when PSG say it makes sense for them in a non-footballing sense, they're probably right.

The additional income from the deal for PSG in terms of sponsorship, tickets sold, etc will be immense.

However, in simple terms, to cover the entire cost of his 5 year contract (£450m), they need to sell 2,181 of his 'official' shirts per day throughout his contract. On day one, they sold well over 10,000 of them.

Far from the deal making a mockery of FFP rules, it actually makes good financial sense. Much as the Beckham deal did back in the day.

Signing a 'marquee' player is a very sensible move for any club.

Is he genuinely saying that selling Neymar shirts at £112.95 a pop (yes that's the price) only gets 10-15% to PSG? I don't believe it. Even if it were true, the clamour to be the shirt sponsor of PSG going forward will be enormous and they'll pocket vast sums that way instead.

Well they definitely wouldn't bank 100% of it which is what you were insinuating.

I heard on the radio ( not re Neymar by the way ) that the clubs earn a maximum of 20% of the sale price of a shirt ( and that's after knocking off the Vat element of the price the punters pay ).

Things not going so well for Uncle Claudio in his first league game. Lille 3 Nantes 0 with 15 to go.

How the **** he didn't give that in the 1st place

I didn't think it was a penalty in real time - looked like a dive to me until I saw the replay.

Brilliant own goal after 14 seconds. Opposition hadn't had a touch of the ball yet.
