So this journo didn't hear of Ranieri's goal for the 2nd half of the season then?

He's not a 'journo', he's a truly terrible radio presenter on Talksport who says lots of ridiculous stuff simply to provoke a reaction and try and make people listen to his godawful show

Spotted a guy wearing a Leicester City 'King Power' shirt in the crowd at the SA vs England cricket match from Cape Town on the TV yesterday. Don't know what he said to his mates, but I guess he must have been talking about City at some point during South Africa's pedestrian run 'chase'.

I know some lads who run a business taking cricket fans on tour and they're based close to Melton, so there may well be a few City fans there

I've not heard what Ranieri has had to say about our goal for the season now that we've hit the 40. But I will say not many teams the size of ours get themselves into contention for winning the Premier League. Take things step by step, for now we need to try and keep ourselves in contention and do the right things in this transfer window.

He said that the target for the second half of the season is also 40 points.

Double page interview on Ranieri in tonight's London Evening Standard. Strange to see Leicester feature so prominently in a London paper.

Nothing new to report. Largely on how he has restored his reputation back to where it was (which I guess is the London angle).

Plus we're playing Spurs back to back I suppose.
