I was thinking yesterday actually that Mahrez' stats this season even far outweigh Bale's in his final season at Spurs. I was thinking of other wingers in the PL in my lifetime who I can remember getting such ridiculous stats and putting in such ridiculous performances and the comparison that's there to be made in terms of goals and assists for a winger is genuinely only Cristiano Ronaldo.

He is the top EPL player listed, and as it is a calendar year nearly half of it was spent at the bottom of the league! He is currently third this season behind Neymar and Messi.
