Yeah, I read it earlier. The main thing I learned from it was how we could easily have had Moyes instead of Taylor if Elsom wasn't such a blithering idiot.
Main thing I learnt was a reminder how close we came to total extinction and the huge debt we owe to Micky Adams for getting us promoted in the most difficult and challenging circumstances.

On the latest Behind Closed Doors podcast, Baker and Lineker briefly discuss the Cruyff to Leicester rumour and the Burton Albion rearranged FA Cup tie.

Gary didn’t know anything about the Cruyff rumour, and got almost everything wrong about Burton (said it was in 81, that the score was 5-0, and didn’t mention the missile just put it down to “hooliganism”). But regular listeners will know that’s par for the course for his recollection of his career!

he also thinks the Burton hat-trick was chalked off his record, but I think the goals stood (haven’t checked, but remember they were on Ceefax top scorer stats at the time!)

The Rooney/Vardy story is BIG. There's nothing else really happening in the world, certainly in the UK these days....
The trouble with serious stories is that nobody understands them. There are a few people who claim to understand Brexit. Strangely they are often found on both sides They believe they are the first generation in History to understand their own peiod. On the other hand everybody can understand Coleen vs Rebekkah.
A few years back there was a story about a lady called Carolyn Bourne who sent an email to her sons fiancee It was a story of no importance but it went viral because people understood it. Carry on Mrs Rooney and Mrs Vardy

On Vardy;
The fact he appears to be half human, half ferret and appears to actively feed of negative energy just makes him all the more admirable

The ferret reference made me laugh
Always thought of him as half human , half kestrel - it's those eyes, searching for a weakness in the opponent's defence

Half human, half blue food colouring.

On his way down Welford Road for a match in the 1970s?
