@popillius I believe at this point that if Chilwell was one the best left backs in the world (he's not) you would still find something to moan.A report written in The Sun, of all papers, quoting the thoughts of one footballer (apparently) who has probably only played against Chilwell 4 or 5 times and has probably watched him play about ten times outside of that and now it's a fact that he must be great. Watch him for a season Andy, and I'm sure you'll realise he's a mess of a player most of the time.
Chaps... I mean.... get a grip. One of the world's best full backs?!
Look at all of those massive clubs queuing up for his signature; Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, PSG... all desperate to sign Chil.... oh... hang on. No, there hasn't been a sniff. It's just Lampard who the ever reliable few on here have told us is a 'shit manager' all season and that's only according to the ever reliable British press. I needed a giggle though so thanks for that.
I wouldn't. I'd be over the moon. Why would I moan about a consistently, quality, world class player? What a very strange thing to say.@popillius I believe at this point that if Chilwell was one the best left backs in the world (he's not) you would still find something to moan.
I know right. It's like when all the pundits were saying Maguire was 'exceptional' and one of the best defenders in the league and the usual suspects on here were banging on about him being mediocre. Or when these same experts keep telling us how great Maddison is as a player and how important he is and the 'experts' on here accuse him of being nothing more than a show pony. Then there's the time these experts told us how world class Manchester City were when they won the title and broke countless PL records on the way only for that to be rebuked by our resident BN who referred to them as 'shit' all season long.its amazing that all the people that get paid and make a living in football rate him given how shit some of our fans constantly insist he is
Intersting article in the Athletic from last week about Gray, who has apparently had the biggest impact of any premier league subs.
If you have the Athletic it's this one - https://theathletic.co.uk/1971059/2020/08/15/leicester-rodgers-subs-positive-impact-demarai-gray/
If you don't it's basically saying that statistically Gray has been effective as a sub.
What do we think?
To be fair i think he has improved. Difficult one as we are probably not in the position to have anyone much better on the bench at the moment, but he's nowhere good enough to start.Intersting article in the Athletic from last week about Gray, who has apparently had the biggest impact of any premier league subs.

He certainly doesn't look like him. He's no Rooster Russell though, is he?
He certainly doesn't look like a Premier League standard player
But the important question is...what does Andy Robertson think about him?

Come on now fellas. If the experts tell us he is great....He's easily in his top three subs in the world, guaranteed
Leicester and some kind of transfer sorcery... - Football365
Leicester sell one key player every summer and yet keep improving. It’s magic.www.football365.com
I hope someone tells him this. TwatI know Sean Dyche won't like this, but our net spend over the last five years is only about £10m more than Burnley's.
