Well behind. Nomination cards haven’t been printed, the video packages are a shambles and would need to be redone, I can’t for the life of me book any of the live entertainment I had planned (Gary Glitter is “unavailable for bookings indefinitely” apparently). The material for the trophies is stuck in customs because we need to pay duties and nobody knows how to do it. The catering company has gone into administration. The event staff have gone on strike because of a dispute over pay and training. The venue itself had a kitchen fire a few weeks ago and still hasn’t reopened. And now a load of new rules around Covid.
In fact, barring a miracle, it’s not gonna happen. Sorry.

I've had a go at Maddison at times. For his performances on the pitch and his behaviour off it. Justifiably so in my opinion. Despite this, he is clearly both a good player and a good man.
