Jusf watched the Lineker doc on bbc, it got a bit dusty.

**** me, its real.

All of the goals ...

I've only watched half so far, but thank you - this is incredible.

Amazing how far we came this season, from the incredible comebacks earlier in the season when we were leaking so many goals, to Vardy's incredible record breaking run, followed by a hat trick for Mahrez and then it went on and on from there didn't it! Wow.

Selective memory - Spurs had a good season and played some entertaining football, but he can't say 'everyone was against us (Spurs)' - or too nice to Leicester - with six games to go nearly all the well known pundits from BBC/ Sky (names listed on anther thread) were unanimous in saying City would falter and Spurs would win their remaining games to take the title. And - even without the four points we took from Spurs - we would still have won the title with a convincing 6 point margin.

Correction - six points from Arsenal, but still two points above Spurs if you give them the 2 wins instead of the one point from the draw that that they actually got.

FOXES HUNTED DOWN
In a shock move, following an online petition by Leixit - a group set up by Arsenal and Tottenham supporters - the Premier League has stripped Leicester City of its 2015/16 title win. In an historic move the Premier League has implemented Emergency Clause 50, which is designed to prevent teams outside the elite group of 6 clubs winning the title. The key elements of Clause 50 are as follows and the Premier League is implementing the clause retrospectively for the 2015/16 season:
1) Any victory by a 1-0 margin will not result in the award of 3 points. These matches will yield 2 points instead because they simply aren’t convincing enough.
2) Bonus points will be awarded on the basis of possession. Teams with possession statistics below 40% will receive a 1 point deduction per match. Those achieving in excess of 50% will earn an extra bonus point per match.
These changes are also designed to encourage free flowing, attractive, skilful football as demonstrated by our national team under Roy Hodgson. In a further blow, the Foxes have also been deducted a further 20 points because of the actions of their manager, Claudio Ranieri. With 8 matches still to play at the end of the season, Mr. Ranieri insisted that both Arsenal and Tottenham were the title favourites and that they would win all of their remaining fixtures. He repeated this claim several times as the season drew to a close. This turned out to be misleading and untrue as both teams imploded and capitulated. The Premier League has acted swiftly here due to what they see as unsporting behaviour by the Leicester manager.
Following the euphoria of the team’s success, several Leicester players were full of remorse the following day. They continued to win their matches in the run in on the understanding that they would still be caught by their London rivals. They were “just having a laugh and living the dream”. Many of the Leicester players are shocked and embarrassed by the grief they have caused in north London. One of the stars admitted: “Had we known this would be the outcome we would have certainly lost a few more games. The lads are mortified.”
The Premier League will decide who the 2015/16 champions are after further analysis and they wish newly relegated Leicester City all the very best in the Championship next season.
Leixit campaigner Sid Bonkers (84) commented: “The entire league system is flawed. Titles should not be decided on the basis of the most points gained over 38 games. This ground-breaking decision should hopefully keep the smaller clubs in their rightful place. It’s a victory for football and common sense.”

Thanks - first time I've laughed this weekend...

Remember when this thread was a positive that everyone was talking about us.... Now I wish they'd stop

The depressing thing is that our season hasn't changed ambitions at all. Yes it's unlikely that we will win the thing but we have shown what good recruitment, planning and team building can achieve. But we're still talking about top 10 and I bet everyone else will still be on about getting 40 points.

Clownio played down our chances for all but 3/4 games last season. I'm sure our own target isn't the same as publicly stated one.
