It was a good read.

I thought 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' was a pretty well accepted maxim. When CR came in, things certainly weren't broke so I wonder why he would 'fix' something that played a part, even if only a small one, in our performance.

One of the things that impressed me about NP's kingdom (despite his personal idiosyncrasies, or maybe even because of them) was his attention to detail. He put together a team that looked into many aspects of training and well being. It was 'marginal gains' stuff really. I'd assumed CR had left it intact.

That's all very commendable Matt. Personally I'd rather be watching Premier League football next season.

and you sound as though firing CR makes that happen. Maybe some of us can simply disagree with you.

I'll bet you each and every one of those new contracts has a relegation opt-out clause for the player.

Maybe a good thing. Fresh start. The thought of being stuck with a £110k p/w 30 year old Vardy in the Championship with nobody wanting to take him off our hands....

That was my biggest concern about relegation so hopefully that's true and we won't be well and truly in the financial shitter!
