£200 for “bowl food” and have to pay for your drinks?! Who the **** would want to do that?

I’d be expecting a formal three course dinner and a few free drinks for that.

£200 should include favours. £200 for a match ffs....

Yeah. Basically asking for £160 for somewhere to sit before the game, a ‘complimentary’ drink, a programme and a bowl of chilli.

In modern hospitality terms ‘lounge’ invokes images of comfy chairs, low lighting, something cosy and exclusive. Not ****ing carpet tiles and strip lights :042:

The club hiked their prices in the summer for everything, including hospitality. At the time, several of us on here said that this was idiotic given the way that the world is turning.

Obviously, tickets haven't been selling as they'd anticipated in all areas. It does need to be said that their season hospitality packages do still seem to have sold this year, it's the game by game stuff that hasn't. Some businesses still seem to be doing well enough to not yet be cutting back on such things but individuals aren't splashing out.

You can imagine the middle management meeting about a lack of take up. How do we fill spaces with people with a few quid? What's the price point we can pitch something at that people will consider to be acceptable? How can we exploit these idiots a bit more? I hope people tell them to do one on this too.

Another minor but irritating thing that the club do is promote prices of things and then add '+VAT'. Who does this in the real world? It's not £175 a ticket, it's over £200.

Junior Lewis.

Oooooh spooky.

How did they miss that one. It was his actually nickname!
I don’t think they’re aiming it at people who will remember Brian Carey to be fair. I’m surprised Yakubu is on there.
