yeah there were clubs queing up for him in the summer, Beckford may be good in league 1 but will be found out like so many others if he ever makes the step up.

also read the comment i didnt compare dickov to beckford i said overall we have better strikers than dirty, tin bath northern scum.
 
oh well.....he came, made reasonable educated argument and then left. absolutely gutted

Beckford's pretty good from what I've heard of him, but to be fair he'll probably piss off come January anyway. What we've got is easily good enough for this league anyway, so they're allowed their 1 good player.

And besides, your defence is very, very leaky. Leeds will probably get a bit of a confidence following their win yesterday, and they should finish in the top 6 this season... but they'll still be about 20 points behind us ;)

And to be fair, "thewhites" doesn't seem as much of a knobhead as a lot of the rival fans that come on here... just a shame that he supports dirty Leeds, as that automatically says bad things about a person anyway. Don't know how anyone could want people to know their a Leeds fan to be honest.

For me, the simple fact that Alan Sheehan is considered worthy of a first team place tells me everything I need to know about Leeds.

Sheehan is wank with a left foot. Just like Stefan Oakes. No team worth a shite would have him anywhere near.

Therefore, by a matter a simple deduction, Leeds are toss.

My second argument would centre on the hopelessly out of his depth manager that is Gary McAllister. Lovely fella. Cracking player for both our clubs. But a potentially successful manager? Not a prayer.

If City finish below Leeds I'll shoot the cat.

I saw them get absolutely bossed over two legs by Carlisle in the play-offs last season - Leeds looked absolutely ****ing awful in those two games.

You've signed up to our board to tell us that we're not going to do as well as you and expect us to agree with you? Fcuk back off to your Leeds board and we'll see what happens when the season ends.

Fryatt's scored more goals than Beckford in the league in less games, fact.

And by the way, we didn't play this week because we had too many of our players called up to play international games - I expect that's something that Leeds won't have to worry about this season.
 
I guess this thread proves that every Leeds fan has a great big ****ing chip on it's shoulder.

It's funny how Sheehan was in our team last season and WE HAD the second best defence record all season. It all depends how he copes with a different team and in a league lower to when you had him

How can you judge MCAllister?? He is only as succesful as your manager really so dont start scraping the barrel with stupid comments.

Its so funny how you dis Leeds but you simply forgot we won 92 points last season. Was that pure fluke???
Leeds know for a fact they can handle all 46 games in this season as we have been there and done it, You haven't.
Because you are the 'new big team in town' other teams will now step up their game when playing u like they did with us last season. You have only seen a tenth of this league and I can't wait to see how stable you will become once suspensions and injuries start kicking in.

Oh and as for an earlier comment about Beckford probably leaving us in January. Well if he wanted to leave he wouldve done by now in the window. Leeds are in a good financial position now and that is why we are able to keep hold of gems like Beckford and Fabian Delph(highly rated u19 england int). Pity your financial state isn't as colourful that you have to bring in Dickov. May have been good a few years back but he yesterday's news.

I can't wait for Max Gradel to put him on his arse OVER & OVER again when we play. Sheehan a one trick pony who couldn't tackle to save his life. How many times has he been booked since he joined you? His shitty attitude fits in nicely with how I imagine Leeds and their fans to be.
