Didn't say we didn't deserve it. We played some outstanding football, but it was also a combination of many things. I just don't think we can expect to play that kind of football this season

We have sufficient playing strength to be competitive. From the greatest so called over-achievers we have become under- achievers, real fast.

Shakespeare seems like a decent bloke and no doubt a decent coach - but is he setting up the team right in terms of selection or ambition in tactics? For one thing it's understandable for the side to be a counter-attacking team - but you don't win too many games when possession falls to around 20%. Of course not having a mid-field since the transfer window hasn't helped much and fans tend to forget that there are two teams involved in a game - but we need a manager who can lift the team to hit the opposition with all out play. We seem to have lost that facet to our style.

Basically, every game looks very difficult now and it will be interesting how we get on with the allegedly weaker sides in the next few weeks.

We play very obvious football as well, I'm still backing him, 6 more games that equal losses I will be agreeing with the majority. I don't think you can judge someone's results on 6 games, especially with his record at the end of last season.

You mean the utter humiliation of that abject surrender at home against Spurs, or that horrific flaccid pile of crap at home against Bournemouth ?

He hasn't had 6 games he's had 19 games (not including cup games) of which he has taken 27 out of a possible 57 points ... 15 of those came in that initial 5 game honeymoon period. In the following 14 games he's taken just 12 points ... less than a point a game. In his final 8 games at the end of last season he took 8 points (including a damn good hiding from Spurs at home). Not good enough in my opinion.

So if I win the lottery on Saturday I should keep playing as i'm likely to win again ?

Everyone saw the odds of Leicester to win the league, lets be honest we were fortunate of underachieving top clubs AND had a system that premier league clubs could not compete against AND the best player Midfielder in the League AND the most of form winger in the league.

Thinking that a team isn't going to adjust and learn to play against us and expecting a substandard set of players to achieve anything than Mid table this year with all the money spent with other clubs is just ridiculous.

Too many people expecting too much of a bottom/mid table club, lets be honest 4 seasons ago we were in the championship with most of the key players we have now, 3 seasons ago with pretty much the same squad we barely survived relegation. We have to be realistic......talk about this 6 weeks and we are still in the same position i will 100% agree this is turning out to be a disaster, but until then and 6 games in, then there should not be a concern...We are 6 points from 4th....cmooonn

If you won the lottery I would hope you'd use the opportunity and money it provided to improve your standard of living for the long term....rather than spunking it on overpriced Nigerian internationals.

Just glad our Terran doesn't begin with the letter 'B' really:

19 team hasn't moved Burton 9 2 3 4 -9 9
20 team hasn't moved Brentford 9 1 4 4 -2 7
21 team hasn't moved Barnsley 8 2 1 5 -4 7
22 team hasn't moved Sunderland 9 1 3 5 -6 6
23 team hasn't moved Birmingham 9 1 2 6 -8 5
24 team hasn't moved Bolton 9 0 2 7 -15 2

I'm afraid the 'honeymoon' period was about the players being relieved to be rid of Ranieri and they put in a shift to avoid relegation. Since then it's been down to Shakespeare to provide the inspiration and I think that's beyond him and to be fair wouldn't have been easy for many others. He also appears to have been badly served by others in the senior management structure culminating in the shambles of the Silva episode and that after they had largely thrown away any legacy opportunities from 2015/16 by their dreadful buys in the summer 2016 transfer market. A Shakespearian tragedy.

either he doesn't realise the tactics aren't working in which case he should be sacked

or

he doesn't have the authority over the players to do so, in which case he should be sacked.

also playing a player in Vardy who is obviously untif when we have £55m worth of strikers on the bench is sheer stupidity, get him fully fit

All is not well. I am beginning to think the unthinkable. There's learning on the job and then there's failure to learn from your mistakes. I'm not sure which Shakey is doing.

OK, he's not blessed with options but I'm not seeing progress with the options he has. I wanted us to pick up where we left off against Liverpool; lacking in technique perhaps but playing with desire. Instead, we went backwards. We were a team bereft of confidence, ideas and creativity. The message seemed to have been 'hoof it for Vardy'. We have better players than that. I'm beginning to think they are being let down by frightened management.

Load of shit. Replacing Claudio in the short term was a piece of piss. Restore sanity, simplify things, organize, appeal to players egos. But that's not enough in to last long term.

Whoever replaces Shakespeare should find plenty of easy things to sort out too. He's not even getting the basics right, leaving aside the details. Plenty of players who are screaming out for a fresh start and approach.

Getting a tune out of this squad shouldn't be difficult.

And that's the thing, surely we have enough quality in the squad to perform better than this?

Ancelotti available. Last time we employed a recently sacked Italian journeyman it didn't work out too badly.

Was expecting more from Shakespeare but this is on par with the utter clueless shit of most of last season. He doesn't look up to it unfortunately.

We need to get an experienced manager in quickly.
