Should all happen be fairly swiftly then
in time for the transfer window to get some players with a bit of fight about them!

there aint many now that do, all they want is there pay check! There isnt any grit and determination in the squad apart from a select few.

Not sure whether its down to lack of motovation from Kelly or what. We need a good old fashioned Midfielder than wants to get stuck in and play for the team, even if they are shite at least they are chasing the ball, some one like Savage

My understanding is that the shareholders in attendance were unaminous in accepting the bid in principle. MM is now the prefered bidder. MM now does 'due diligence' i.e his accountants and lawyers check we have not told any 'porky pies' about our assets, debts and income. Probably before the end of November he will make a formal bid for the club putting in amounts and promises about the stadium and team development in line with his 'informal' bid. The shareholders must accept or reject his bid within 21 days, but they can do this after 1 day if they like/dislike it. The rumour is that only if MM gets a yes vote from 90% of the shares, not the shareholders, will he accept and buy the club in its entirety. Of course after due diligence he could still walk away but that appears unlikely. So MM could be the sole 100% owner by mid-December and LCFC will be his Xmas toy to do with as he pleases, subject to what he promises in his formal bid offer.

I assume that the green light for the offer means that at least 90% of the share holders have agreed to sell to Mandaric and all that is left to do is the paperwork.

Can Someone please confirm

I'm sure the chairman in his radio Leicester interview said the feeling of the shareholders at the meeting was unanimous.
But not all the shareholders were present, something like 36 of the 48 were there. But I imagine anyone who didn't go (unless they're based abroad like a couple of them), would vote with the rest because I'm sure if it was that important to them they'd have gone to the meeting.

So, of all the shareholders of Leicester City Football Club, 25% of them didn't turn up to one of the most important meetings in the history of the club :102:

I don't think there was a formal vote planned though, so it might be difficult to send a proxy if you don't know what you're voting for.

You can normally appoint a proxy without specifying how they should vote or on what. Even without a formal vote the proxy is able to indicate that the absentee is happy to go along with their view.
