Press Conference.... at QPR this afternoon so that will tell us if Holloway is sacked or staying.. if he gets sacked then its time to start worrying!!

Reading in the press this morning the QPR Chairman is pissed off with Holloway because he applied for the job here without telling him and feels he cannot trust Holloway anymore.

No time for fecking about with getting someone into hold Kelly's hand and deal with those nasty agents.We need to sort it out and get a proper Management team in and get contracts etc sorted out and map out a future...IMO.

Yes but what if we can't get who we NEED before the summer? Are you suggesting we compromise?

No we push the boat out and make sure we get that person we want.If Kelly wants the job and the Board want him then fine but he does the job warts and all,that is what being a Football Manager is all about.We can't afford the cash or the time to feck about with getting people in to oversee others....IMO

I don't fancy having to do this again in the near future. I think we should get our man as soon as we can as long as he is what we want and not a complete compromise just to be expdient. If Our man (the right man) is not available.......yet, then perhaps we should stick with Kelly till the end of the season.

If its Newell or anyone like that, they will surely bring in their own support team, maybe they will want to keep Kelly for a handover period, but any new manager will want his own choices at his right hand.

Fecked if I know what to think to be honest, its all getting on my tits abit now.

The whole saga of getting rid of CL, getting a new bloke in, getting his new staff in, paying compo out, paying new blokes wages etc etc adds up to a tidy sum.
I think one of two things will happen.
1. we keep RK on either permantly or to the end of the season at worst.
2. New bloke in now, get the whole shooting match done and dusted.

Having a stop gap bloke to help would only add to the cost. Whats to say in the summer we wont have to pay compo anyway. At the end of the day it is all about money, and who will accept the job on our pay structure.

IMO it would have been done and dusted with Newell installed if we hadn't won both of our league games. The board have a real dilemma with Kelly now.

I think they need to ruthless and stick to the intial plan rather than letting 2 wins distract them!

In the ansence of any real facts emerging, we all latch on to any scap of data that may or may not have a semblence of truth about it, by the time it reaches here its been refined and approved by Rumour Control. The media keep the kettle boiling with any manager who has a tiff with the board becoming a suspect.

Fact is there are few hard facts about, we know not much more than we did last week. Pinching someone elses manager is always a bit cloak and dagger.

I for one am keeping a completely open mind.................as long as its Newell, and not Holloway. :icon_eek:
