I'm playing at Leicester Banks on Aylestone Road. Wonder if i'll be able to hear when we score.????

I was walking to work down Soar Valley Way a few years ago and I could here the crowd when City scored against Leeds so would think you'd be able to hear something.

Why do you think it will so much lower than last season's first match, when we had over 23,000?
Season ticket sales are around the same, people were also on holiday last year, and we didn't make any big name signings last summer.

where are the season ticket sales figures then? I couldnt find anything publicised since the end of the season and the last figures I found were 1k down on last year, and aren't we also dealing with higher matchday prices?

From the Mercury:

Leicester City's opening-day gate against Swansea at the Walkers Stadium today is expected to be in excess of 25,000.

Chief executive Lee Hoos said yesterday that the figure stood at 24,400 and he was looking for the 25,000 mark to be topped.

That includes the allocation to Swansea of 3,200 which is sold-out with no tickets available to away fans on the day.

Season-ticket sales are also running at around the 15,000 mark.

That's not bad at all.

26,000 odd in the end.

Thanks for the update Ted, will you be putting together any graphs to illustrate your figure? Maybe a Powerpoint presentation is in order?

This board sucks. There's no special button which sets up a link to a Powerpoint presentation.
