He looked nervous to start with, fumbled a few crossed etc, but in the end he did ok I thought. Could've easily fecked up a save from a point blank header second half but caught it cleanly.

This guy used to play for us. He's like a fat David James with more calamities. At corners he has this 'headless bird in a cardboard box' routine. Be prepared to hide your eyes.

Yeah, it was when Mark McGhee managed them and Steve Claridge also played up front. He scored after about 10 seconds - pure silence!

We did win 4-1 in the end, though!

That was a quality match. Claridge didnt celebrate, whilst his team mates tried to mob him. A bloke next to me got in late, after 20 mins he turned and asked me if the scoreboard was correct!

He's not been playing regularly, probably had less than 3 or 4 hours of training with the squad, was in hostile condtions against a former club, so IMO was chucked straight in at the deep end and I thought he did pretty well.

That's how it starts. Before long you're thinking 'We should sign this guy up'. Luckily for us Fulham did. Then you see why he's been passed around more often than Patsy Kensit. Probably be OK in your current situation. Not much to do and weaker opposition. But for pity's sake don't sign him up.
