Thats against spurs, west ham and west brom!

It's on my predictor that this is a loss, so don't worry about it

Even though they looked complete shite yesterday, they have enough to safely beat us at a canter

3-2 Leicester. Izzet 2, Taggart for us. Iversen 2 for them.

The only reason I can think for Pearson not just playing all out attack against teams like Spurs is that he does not think we can score goals!

No-one, including Spurs, most of our fans, and some of the team, are expecting us to win. If we lose, I do not give a toss whether it was 1-0 or 5-0. We lost. But did we put up a fight and try and win, rather than just defend?

Forget about letting a 2 or 3 in at the back. Our problem all season has not been a crap defence, we generally have only lost about 10 or 11 matches by 1 goal, and about 5 or 6 by 2 goals.

Nobody has taken us apart and given us a spanking.

So please Pearson, forget about defending a 0-0 draw and maybe sneak a break away goal. It ain't going to happen.

Accept we are going to concede and just go all out to score goals. Go for a strike pairing that understand each other, such as Vardy and Nugent and tell them to let rip.

Put Kramaric in behind them with Mahrez to feed the front two and work some magic from the edge of the penalty area.

Keep the fast boys, Schlupp and de Laet out wide as wing backs, with the instruction that they are to expect to be up and down that pitch all afternoon.

Keep Schwarzer, Huth and Cambiasso as the experienced spine of the team.

The other two slots can go to whoever can convince Pearson they are prepared to fight to win. Probably that means Big Was as the other defender. The other regular defenders and midfielders such as Upson, Konchesky, Simpson, James and Drinkwater etc, can scrap for the bench places. As we probably only need one defender on the bench, I would drop Morgan from the squad.

Come on Pearson - play a team that is going to try and score goals!

Agree with that but we wont

We have 100% win record at White Hart Lane in 2015, I'm extremely confident.

Oh dear

Have you even watched a single game ?

If we had a crap defence we would have lost many games by 3 or 4 goals. We have a defence that every game makes 1 or 2 mistakes that get punished by goals.

What we do not have is an attack that can put their own chances away or punish occasional mistakes made by opposition defences.

But if we leave ourselves more open defensively, we will make more mistakes and concede more goals. Losing 4-2 is the same as losing 2-0. Our esteemed manager has meddled with formations more this season than any other manager (eight variations at last count). He has, I feel, finally found a formation that suits our personnel. 5-2-3 that can become 3-4-3 is the right approach. However, as is usually the case with anything other than 4-4-2, he and his team haven't the faintest idea how to coach the players on it.

Isn't it amazing how we've moved on in discussing upcoming matches? Now all we can disagree about are various methods of defeat. Imagine being a player at the moment. It must be soul destroying.

What about all the mistakes that haven't been punished? There is this statistic of not losing by more than 2 goals, but there has been numerous games where the opposition could have run up a cricket score had they been more clinical in front of goal. Just because we've lost by small margins is in no way down to solid defending.

And if we had been at all clinical in front of goal, yet alone more clinical, we could have scored lots more goals too, so maybe we could have won some games 5-4 or 4-3

Those wanting Morgan out obviously didn't see his sublime and silky run across the box, the shot was super good.

Give it a rest,

Our defending is shit, our midfield is shit and our attack is shit.

They have all been shit in a lovely collaboration of shitness for quite some time, we can't score and we rarely don't concede goals, we are what they call, totally ****ing shit.

Don't shit it.
